Q:My family and I are looking into solar panels for our home. But I'm unsure how it would be priced. This month our home used ,623 kwh. The solar panel company said we should expect $6-$9 per watt used. What would that put as at?
With out doing the math,, I think I would ask the solar panel company to explain it to you as they are trying to sell it to you. And see if you have some sort of warranty of savings. Make them work for the sale!!
Q:Can solar panels be used in multi-story buildings?
Yes, solar panels can be used in multi-story buildings. They can be installed on the rooftops or facades of these buildings to harness solar energy and generate electricity. Additionally, advancements in solar panel technology have made it possible to integrate them into building materials, such as windows or cladding, allowing for even more flexibility in their use in multi-story structures.
Q:How often do solar panels need to be replaced or repaired roughly? Is it costly to do so?

Q:Me and my wife just saw an ad on TV about going solar and saw the money we can save every month... any here have solar panels? How much do you save every month on energy bill? Is it true that your energy meter will spin backwards? lol
You okorder The notion of spinning a meter backward has a lot of people plugging in their solar panel via an inverter- but this is a very bad idea and illegal as well- the power company requires a lockout device they control to kill power in their powlines for servicing and repairs- a plugged in solar panel and inverter can cause them injury or death. If you have about 30,000 dollars to invest (cost will vary), and you are going to be staying in your home for at least 0 years, contact your electric power utility as they will have the progams in place to do the installation on your site, and install the needed equipment for you to be legally grid tied. They will also have your paperwork prepared for your tax person come tax time. Most are actually seeking people out to do this, I won't go into details why, but by listening carefully to the power company in their presentation they will indirectly tell you why. Any installation that is intended to be grid tied MUST be approved by the power company and meet their specifications. Too many people are ignoring this last detail.
Q:Can solar panels be used for powering Wi-Fi networks?
Yes, solar panels can be used to power Wi-Fi networks. Solar panels generate electricity from sunlight, which can be used to power various devices, including Wi-Fi routers. This allows for the establishment of Wi-Fi networks in remote or off-grid locations where traditional power sources are either unavailable or unreliable. Additionally, solar-powered Wi-Fi networks are environmentally friendly and sustainable, as they utilize renewable energy sources.
Q:Can solar panels be used for powering remote monitoring systems?
Yes, solar panels can be used to power remote monitoring systems. Solar panels capture sunlight and convert it into electricity, which can then be used to power various devices and systems, including remote monitoring systems. This makes solar panels an environmentally friendly and cost-effective solution for powering such systems in remote locations where access to the electrical grid may be limited or non-existent.
Q:how big of an solar panel do i need to power/charge my laptop?would one from canadian tire sell the right one?
Yes. Basically, here's what you need (I'm keeping this general on purpose): The panels themselves -- how large an area depends on average power consumption and how much power you can get on average. That, in turn , depends on climate. You'd need more in Seattle than Tuscon, for example. I'd guess something in the neighborhod of 0 square feet. Depends also on haow many gadgets (printers, etc.) you have. You'll need a power storage system. Lithium gives you the best poser density (of off-the-shelf stuff) but an ordinary car battery works well and is reliable. And, of course, a control system to manage the power generation/storage/use so everything works together without that annoying smell that tells you you just cooked a few hundred bucks worth of equuipment! :)
Q:I thought they were going to make solar powered cars and solar power plants among other things. It was only nearly 0 years ago that solar power was the big thing. Just curious, why did it die out?
The technology did not die out. It is in fact quite alive and well, and there exist many different manufacturers of solar panels and devices utilizing them. The problem is that the technology has not yet advanced sufficiently to generate large amounts of power with solar panels, at least not with panels of any practical size and weight. You can easily buy a panel which will trickle-charge your car's battery during the day, but nothing that can generate anywhere near the power required to actually move a car's mass at any significant speed. You would need to buy panels with a very large surface area to make any significant amount of power, and these panels would be very heavy and very expensive.
Q:i see these things all over the internet on how to make 'home made solar panels' but all of them require you to buy the solar cells and nothing tells you how to make your own. So how can you make your own solar cells?

Q:How much energy can a solar panel produce?
The amount of energy a solar panel can produce depends on various factors such as its size, efficiency, location, weather conditions, and orientation. On average, a standard residential solar panel can produce anywhere from 250 to 400 watts of power. However, with advancements in technology, larger solar panels or those used in commercial installations can generate several kilowatts or even megawatts of electricity.
We introduced the newest production line, testing machine, laser cutting machine, non-Pb soldering line, module testing machine, laminating machine and so on. We use top-quality solar cells and EVA,TPT,strengthen glass, seal silicon etc. Our experienced staff work together well to assurance quality under effective ISO system. Our Products are exported to Europe, America, Africa and other Asian countries with safety certificate.
