Ceramic Fiber Board for Heat Insulation

1. Product Description:

Ceramic fiber board is a lightweight refractory material processed with alumina-silica fibers for applications at temperatures up to 1430°C(2600°F) Ceramic fiber board is a vacuum formed product that resists higher gas velocities than ceramic fiber blanket,it is ideal for furnace, boiler duct and stack lining due to its low thermal conductivity and low heat storage allowing shorter cycle times and quicker access for maintenance.

2.Characteristics of ceramic fiber board:

1)Low thermal conductivity,saves fuel

2)Very low heat storage, faster heat and cool-down reducing cycle times

3)Ligh weight.replaces heavy back-up insulation.less steel required.

4)Excellent thermal shock resistance

5)Resistant to hot gas erosion

6)Resists most chemical attacks

7)Easy to cut,handle and install

8)Low sound transmission

9)Resists penetration by molten aluminum and other non-ferrous metals

10)Contains no asbestos

3.Applications:

1)Refractory lining for industrial furnaces in walls, roofs, doors, stacks, etc.

2)Combustion chamber liners,boilers and heaters

3)Back-up insulation for brick and monolithic refractories

4)Transfer of molten aluminum and other non-ferrous metals

5)Expansion joint boards

6)Barrier against flame or heat

7)Hot face layer for high velocity or abrasive furnace atmosphere

Q:Two weeks ago I had some plumbing done and he was up in the atticHe turned on my attic fan and insulation blew all over the placeJuly 4th I came home and my ceiling was dripping and stainedIt turns out the drain for the condensation was plugged up with insulationIt was working fine before he was up in the atticDid this cause the plugging of the drain? If so I want the plumbing company to repair the damageIs this reasonable? I opened up the ceiling and the drip pan was full of insulation and I vacuumed it out but can not get the drain unplugged.
umm yea artard the chances of that are like 0 just admit that you lost a bet and had to breathe meth or whatever you did
Q:I just posted a question on here a few minutes ago about a problem with my rectum (i bleed a little bit but no pain) when I go to the bathroom that has only been going on for a few days and I heard that one of the reasons this happens is because I don't have enough fiber or water in my bodyI admit I do not very often eat fruits and I tend to eat a lot a fatty foods, however I am not heavy at allI am 14I have a feeling this isn't that big of a problem and it's just because of the foods I'm eating, but can someone help me out here? Do I need more fiber because of this? Is this bad?
The best insulation is a closed cell insulation that is stable, EPS, (Expanded Poly Styrene) also you could research Icenene, for batt type insulation I prefer Roxul brand for its many qualities, for new construction research SIPS ( stuctural insulated panels) Blown wool type for ceilings seems to be the most effective for the dollarbut I still like closed cell, check out the Polysteel websiteI am also a fan of EIFS ( Exterior Insulation Finishing System) using Durock Rain Screen System, the insulation has a formed water channel system on the underside to channel condensation to exterior and promote evaporation of same, but like most products the manufacturers guidelines MUST BE FOLLOWED Best of luck!!
Q:Back ground:I live in N California and the temps have dropped and 3 weeks ago I just built a 14X20 outbuildingI had a cement pad poured, I used hardiboard siding with TRX vapor wrap underneathThere is 1 gable vent and 1 double pain vinyl sliding patio door, with a comp roofIt took 6 days to finishAfter I sealed it with about 15 tubes of caulking and painted it, I started to load it up with storageWhat is happening now is all my cardboard boxes are water logged and items destroyed due to moisture in the airThey were not sitting on the floor but still all got ruinedIt's crazy I wanted to save this stuff that lasted 50 years in my family and now they are ruined. Was it the concrete? Lack of insulation? (there no insulation inside.) My old 30 year old shed did a better job.Where do I go from here to solve this issue?
Actually they do.in a wayMost people don't like the taste of canned water because of the way it's canned - it has a bit of an off taste However, any time there's a major disaster you'll often find canned water at any place set up to help refugees or the displacedI know because I've helped out after floods and things and been at the warehouses that hand out free items like food and water and you'll often hand out bottled or canned water.
Q:how long are their expected service life on the poles before they need to be replaced?Do they last just as long as porcelain insulators?
all insulators have to be periodically cleaned, inspected and maintainedpolymer or plastic have failure modes that glass or ceramic do notFirst being a plastic, they will eventually deform in response to applied stressSecond, the complex chemical compound is broken down through exposure to ultraviolet sun radiationThird, being not as brittle, they suffer more from wind/dust erosionThey are more apt to breakdown if exposed to corrosives in the airAnd finally they are sensitive to thermal factors and can melt in the event of current overloads/lightning in the conductors 10 years would be a generous average, it could be shorter depending on environmental conditionsglass/ceramics are proven performers with a good safety record that will be hard for a new product to match.
Q:any sort of needle that you have on hand on do you have to get the ones they are selling with the plastic handle? Also do you have to have wool roving or can you use left over yarn and brush it to look like roving?
No, you will need to use felting needlesThey will come plain, without handles or anythingyou can use them as is, or put them into any of your holdersYou can use woolbut not any yarnMost yarn that people use is NOT wool, and they will not workYou must use woolnot silk, not acylic, not rayon, not polyester, not alpaca, not angoraWool is what feltsYou can use a blend of some fibres, either in roving or yarn, as the other animal fibres take a long time to feltWool is the only thing that works really well and very easilyYou can use the yarn as it is to make designs, but if you are trying to make your basic shape, you need to have loose wool, and roving works best for thatIt's too hard to take the yarns apart to make it into loose fibre.
Q:Let me start by saying my bowel movements, before I began my diet(2 weeks ago) were regularDue to strict dieting and ignorance in the health field I don't believe I've been consuming the nutrients or protein needed in my systemas a result I get constipated for 3 days at a timeToday I've realized I'm making wrong, or too little food choices(300~500cal a day) and messing my body upI'd like to quit this routine and start fresh by eating wholesome foodscan anyone give me some advice to get my body back on track? Thank you
It's not hard as you eat healthy with lots of vegetables, more than you'd ever eatenAlso, take a clear, soluble fiber three times a dayUp your calories and drink water plus one bottle of coconut water per dayTake your multivitaminIn the future, don't restrict calories that muchYour nutritional needs cannot be met when eating so little, plus it makes you weakEat the vegetables, plus if you can find the liquid formulation of vitamins and minerals at the pharmacy, take that, and get some sunlight from a walk in the sunLet your neck get the sunlight for 20 minutes, meaning don't wear a scarf.
Q:I want to put a patch on this beanie(100% acrylic(wool feel))what kind of glue do you recommend to use to put it on it.
350 good old standby degrees! 20-30 minutesthe site gives a few recipes enjoy cooking and enjoy your cooking!!
Q:Preference is to blow in one of these insullation materialsWhat are the pros and cons to each material type? Are there health risks with fiberglass insulation in a wall? Can mold grow on any of these material types? Thanks
Oxide ion is O2- Aluminum ion is Al3+ Barium: atomic number 56 (meaning 56 protons) +2 charge means 2 less electrons 54 electrons Compound: BaO F-: atomic number 9 ( 9 protons) -1 charge means 1 extra electron 10 electrons Compound: AlF3 Cl-: atomic number 17 (17 protons) -1 charge means 1 extra electron 18 electrons Compound: AlCl3 Ti4+ : Atomic number 22 (22 protons) + 4 charge means 4 fewer electrons 18 electrons Compound: TiO2
Q:let's say you have three pieces/lengths of fiber: a thick thread, a medium thickness string, and a thin rope Which one is the thread, string and rope? At what THICKNESS does thread become string? At what THICKNESS does string become rope? MoreoverHow exactly DO you classify thread, string or rope?
These bikes have pretty comparable componentsThe Trek is aluminum alloy while the Lemond is steelPersonally, I would recommend you focus on the feel of the bikes when ridingTake each one for a nice hour or more ride and buy the one that you like the mostDon't buy based on a 10 minute spin around the parking lot - this kind of test ride just won't show up problems with fit or comfortHere are a couple items you might want to think about- You can't ride a disk brake equipped bike in a cyclocross raceIf you don't ride cyclocross, this isn't an issue- If you plan on using this bike as a fully loaded touring machine, the additional stopping power of disk brakes is a good ideaIf you want to ride on muddy trails, disk brakes are a good idea (disk brakes do not wear out your rims when they get muddy)For regular road riding, disk brakes add weight and little else- Lemond and Trek are divorcing in a nasty, public brawlWhile Lemond was once an important Trek brand, over the years it has fallen to the wayside(I think Trek found it difficult to keep both Greg Lemond and Lance Armstrong in their stable.) In anycase, Lemond and Trek have blamed each other for the decline of the Lemond brand as they prepared to split the sheetsI suspect the future of Lemond is pretty uncertain at this pointThe good news is they have very standard components and any and all Trek shops will be able to service them in the futureThe bad news is if you buy a Lemond bike now, you may wind up with a piece of cycling historyOne thing for certain is future Lemond bikes will not have as many Bontrager components! Hope this helps.
Q:I want it to be very soft and fluffy
in case you may ask, you're too youthfulwomen folk understand what to do, females tend to ask those questions approximately a public communicate boardadditionally, you're probably youthful as a results of intentional incorrect spelling of mi and sexi.
