FAQ:
Q1: Are electronics cheap in Okorder.com?
A: Of course. They are very cheap. The factories provide the goods. One-stop sourcing.
Q2: Why are electronics so cheap in ok order?
A: On ok order they are the lowest price. Because it is a wholesale website and factory provide goods.
Q3: Do all electronics have silicon in them?
A: No but most modern ones do. Older electronics that don't require micro chips don't have to have silicon at all, and their mother boards are made from copper. Silicon is used in micro chips as a semi-conductor in modern electronics but some other semi-metals, like gallium and germanium can also be used. Silicon is just the most common because it is so plentiful.
- Q:I put the micro SD into the adapter and into the readerbut how exactly do i put music on there.I have a windows XP and I'm like (confused)
- No problem. Two steps: 1. The MP3s should already be on your PC. 2. Once the micro sd card is in your PC, click the Start Button, My Computer. You should see the micro sd card listed as a drive (like Drive E). Copy the MP3s to this drive and you should be in business. If you don't see the Micro SD card listed in My Computer, eject the card and try again. Mike Honeycutt
- Q:I need to back up some things on my laptop. I am shopping for flash drives online and I see card reader. Is this the same as a flash drive. I just need to back up some music, documents, and photos. Will I be able to back up my files using a card reader?
- A card reader is use to read data off things like SD cards and other card formats. The card readers themselves do not store the physical information or data. If you want to back up your files without constantly reading and running applications from it, the best thing to do is get an external hard drive.
- Q:i have several memory cards from a canon i bought years ago, well, i bought the rebel xti because i figured i'd save money on memory cards, i put it in, and the camera works fine. i plugged my Sandisk memory card reader in and my computer picked up that it was plugged in, but once i plugged in the card itself, my computer wouldn't read it anymore. i put in other cards, ones with pictures i took from another camera, and it worked fine. so i can only assume it has something to do with the camera itself or the files. can anyone help me out, is there anything i can do to make this work?if it helps, it's not really a rebel xti, it's the kiss digital x, which is the same thing. i know vista has problems with things, could it be vista, my computer has a built in reader, but it doesn't have a slot for the cf memory card. it only reads sd and smaller.(thats why i was using a different reader)
- what kind of memory card are you using? the first thought i have is that the memory card is sucking enough power out of the USB connection to cause it to fail. The other issue I've noticed is that not all memory card readers are alike. Some will work better with some cards than others.
- Q:I have this internal card reader made by Northstar, and I want to put it in my Vista machine. It doesn't recognize it. Anyone know of Vista drivers for this? It originally came out of an HP Pavilion a819n desktop, and no I don't have the recovery disk(s). Thanks in advance!!
- have you tried installing it to other desktop computer? you may need to install it to other units or from its original source(HP Pavilion a819n desktop). And if it wont be detected by other computers too, then it is already not working or somehow damaged. Because as far as your using windows Vista almost all of the plug and play hardware are being detected(that includes your card reader). But if your hardware came with a driver, you should install it. And with your case, you dont have a driver for that device you may try to download those driver from the manufacturers support page. hope this could help.
- Q:I bought a Nikon CoolPix, and it comes with a UC-E6 USB Cable. Do I need to buy any memory card or memory card reader, then? Thanks!
- .yes okorder
- Q:5.25 USB 2.0/FireWire/eSATA All-in-One MultiFunction Internal Card Readeror 5.25 USB 2.0/FireWire/SATA All-in-One MultiFunction Internal Card Reader w/Temp LCD im buying from amazon
- Card readers frequently go on the fritz since they are so cheap, I would buy an external USB one if I were you so you can just toss it if it malfunctions. But if you have to just have an internal card reader, I would go with the temperature controlled one.
- Q:i just bought one and i dunno how to use it and someone tell me?
- You plug it into your computer (via a USB port), then wait until the computer install (by itself) the driver for it. Then you can insert the memory card into the reader. Note that you will still need any program(s) to edit the photos. The card reader only lets you transfer the files from the card, to your computer.
- Q:What is the difference between a fast charger and a slow charge?
- As for the fast charge on the battery damage, theoretically exist, because the large current charging a larger heat, the chemical composition of the battery material to speed up the possibility of life.
- Q:How can I transfer photo files from my pc to the memory card in my camera. I understand that it is time consuming but can be done.
- If it came with a usb cable use that to transfer the pic's
- Q:I'm a hobbyist photographer, Someone once told me that I should get an external SD card reader even though my computer has a built in reader. can someone please explain to me why I should get one? thanks!
- It would let you read two cards at once if you have a camera that uses multiple SD cards. There's no technical reason to do it though, besides the benefit of reading more than one card at a time.
