- Hi For just a few spots Nature’s Miracle should work. It is available at Petsmart. Make sure you follow the direction. The main reason that it fails is that people just sprays it on and wipe it up and not let it soak into the carpet and pad like the urine did. You may need to do this 2 or 3 time. Just reminder that the urine treatment product needs to go where the urine went for it to work properly. After you clean the spots, you should shampoo the carpet using this product on the front and back of rug. In my experience, Nature's Miracle is your best bet. Good luck! Carpet cleaner for 14 years
- Q:I am just starting to get back into horses again after about 5 years and at the moment i am looking after a friends horse while she is away on holiday.. feeding them etc.one of her hoses has an unwaterproof rug. I asked her if it rains hard, should i take the rug off to dry, if i didnt get the chance to put the waterproof rug on (the waterproof one, can only go ontop of the unwaterproof one lol)She said don't worry about it, it will dry on the horse.Well it rained really heavy over night and has been raining on and off today, i am wanting to put the waterproof rug on when i feed them dinner, but i am just wondering if i should put the waterproof one over top of the already wet unwaterproof one... if that makes any sense??
- My inclination is to take the rug off and give it a chance to dry as well as to allow the horses coat to air out and dry. The heat generated from the horses body will eventually dry the rug, but will have a difficult time. After the rug and horses are dry, then you can properly put the rug on and then the waterproof topping on. Good luck. Janet

- Yes a rug doctor will do the trick. The rental for 24 hours is 16.95 and shampoo runs about 15. Unlike a professional carpet cleaner that cost just over two hundred. I know this becuase I live on a military base and we have to have our carpet professional cleaned before we move out. I also know the rug doctor does a good job because I have had two puppys and rescued a couple dogs that were not potty trained.

- Use a damp sponge and wipe up as much as possible. If there is still a mark a small amount of dishwasher detergent on the sponge should do the trick.

- Yes. I definitely think that those are carpet beetles. I had a similar situation in my room where I stored a lot of old clothes and old items, and I found small fuzzy insects. - Used them many times and they are very reasonably priced. If you aren't moving your furniture (which we didn't) make sure they put everything up on blocks so as not to stain the carpets until they dry. It's a normal procedure for them but they can mess up and your wood or fabric that touches the wet carpet will stain it. When they are done your carpets should only be damp and not wet to the touch. If they are wet don't let them leave until the carpets are only damp. Stanley Steemer is a franchise operation so not all franchises are great. I use them for a whole house cleaning but use my own steam cleaner much more often. I have saved a lot of money by owning my own steam cleaning machine which is a Bissell. I can keep up on carpet cleaning routinely as opposed to waiting until the carpets are in dire need. I would recommend after you use Stanley to buy your own cleaner.
