API STC Casing Couplings

We provide STC casing coulings from 4-1/2″ to 20″, in grade J55, K55, N80, L80 and P110.

Threads are used as mechanical means to hold the neighboring joints together during axial tension or compression. For all casing sizes, the threads are not intended to be leak resistant when made up.

The round-thread (STC or LTC) casing-joint strength is given as the lesser of the fracture strength of the pin and the jump-out strength.

Q:I asked my mom if it was safe to go to sleep with the fire still going and she said yes. I'm worried because the fire is just out in the open and I'm afraid that somehow it could start a fire. After it is applied it remains soft and pliable, although with time it will form a crusted surface. The pipe dope is used to form a better seal between the threads of the pipe and the fittings. As the pipe and the fittings change temperatures, the materials will expand and contract. If the pipe dope dried out it would crack and begin to leak over time. By remaining pliable it maintains the seal and prevents leakage.

Q:Okay, 1st I've though of the most stupidest ideas that pretty much made me worried now. So this is what happend, after reading on how unsafe it was to pierce your lip with a safety pin, I didn't know so I just gone right on ahead and did it, I didn't brush my teeth but I washed my hands, I used rubbing alcohol to clean the safety pin and my lip ring, Okay I used two types of safety pins becuase one was smaller and it didn't fit so I put in bigger one (cleaned with alcohol) in the same hole, it went in and then I put in the lip ring, it was like a loop type lip ring, I put it in and it bled alittle becuase it seemed the loop didn't really fit in but it gone in, I cleaned it afterwards with alchole and proxide. Now I took along time to do it becuase I was nervous. So I checked it was safe.. it wasn't, I took it off asap, I garged proxide and cleaned both sides with alchole, it feels like alittle bubble inside my lip, it looks a bit clean though.. Q:so humans can be safe now i know they don't have anything to stop it but in the future what do you think would this creation be how to stop lightning or how to prevent it from forming: It really depends on the specific situation. Where will the dishwasher be placed? How far from existing plumbing will it be. Can the existing water and drain pipes for the sink be tapped into or extended or will new plumbing be necessary. Pipe, fittings, solder, etc aren't very expensive; it's the labor that really adds up in a hurry.

Q:How to identify the pipe joint thread quickly and accurately?: 3 can also use a known threaded joint, if you want to identify the male pipe joint with a known female connector; if you want to identify the female pipe joint with the known male pipe joint, try to see if it can easily connect
